AI quoting assistant for an industrial electrical equipment distributor: salespeople type the order and the system builds the spec sheet and quotes with ERP prices.
MAELEC sells industrial electrical panels and equipment in the Dominican Republic. Quoting a panel meant checking every breaker, brand and size against the price list by hand, and each salesperson did it their own way.
We built an AI quoting assistant. The salesperson types the order the way they would say it to a colleague; the agent checks MAELEC's rules, builds a spec sheet for each piece of equipment with its nameplate, and asks only for what is missing (voltage, NEMA rating, main position). Once the sheet is complete, it quotes with the ERP's prices, explains when a size does not exist and uses the next one available, and keeps the version history of every quote. Each salesperson signs in with their own user, and the team reviews and approves the agent's improvements against real cases before publishing them.
