Privacy policy

1. Data we collect

Only what you give us voluntarily:

• Name, phone or WhatsApp, email and company.
• The type of solution you're interested in and any message you write.
• Where your visit came from when you arrive from a campaign (parameters such as utm_source or utm_campaign), so we know which ad brought you.
• The language you choose on the site, stored only in your browser.

2. How we use it

Exclusively to:

• Contact you and prepare the assessment or proposal you requested.
• Follow up on your request by WhatsApp, email or phone.
• Measure which channels and campaigns work best, in aggregate.

3. Where it's stored

Website forms are stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), with access restricted to our team. If you message us on WhatsApp or through a Meta form, those services also process your data under their own policies.

4. Who we share it with

We don't sell, rent or hand over your data to third parties. It is only used by the technical providers needed to run the service (hosting and messaging).

5. How long we keep it

For as long as needed to handle your request and any business relationship that follows. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

6. Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data, or object to being contacted, by writing to tech@darkmattercode.com or replying to any of our messages. We'll respond as soon as possible.

7. Cookies and local storage

This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. It only stores strictly functional preferences in your browser: your language and theme (light or dark), whether you've seen the immersive-mode hint and, during your visit, the campaign source so it can be attached to your form. Some case studies show a client's website live; that content is served by the client's site under its own policies.

8. Controller and legal basis

The data controller is Dark Matter Code LLC, headquartered in Houston, Texas, United States (tech@darkmattercode.com). We process your data with your consent when you submit a form or contact us, and on our legitimate interest in answering and following up on your request. If you live in the European Union or Spain, in addition to the rights above you may request restriction or portability of your data and lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in Spain, the AEPD). If you live in Texas or another US state with a privacy law, you may exercise the rights that law grants you and appeal our response by writing to the same email.

9. Children

This site is aimed at businesses and professionals. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU); if you believe a child sent us data, contact us and we'll delete it.

10. Changes

If we update this policy, we'll publish the new version here with its date.
